Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Coin Rectify (the "Service"), operated by Wyser Baron LLC ("Wyser Baron", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Coin Rectify is a web tool that automatically crops photos of coins (and similar circular objects) into clean square images suitable for marketplace listings. You upload one or more photos; we detect the coin, mask the background, and return a cropped output.
How long we keep your photos depends on which feature you use:
- Photo Cleanup (free / Photo Pro / Photo Business tiers): photos are processed in memory and not retained beyond the duration of your active session.
- AI eBay Listings (AI Pro / AI Business tiers): the cleaned crops your AI listings reference are uploaded to our image-hosting bucket (Cloudflare R2) so eBay can fetch them from the bulk-draft CSV. The cleaned crops also appear in our model-request logs for debugging and quality review. See our Privacy Policy for full retention details.
2. Eligibility & Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By signing up you confirm you meet that age requirement. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your sign-in email and for any activity under your account. Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you believe your account has been used without your authorization.
3. Subscriptions, Pricing & Billing
The Service offers a free tier plus four paid tiers split across two product lines:
- Anonymous trial — 15 photos with no account required, tracked per browser via a first-party cookie.
- Free — once you sign up, you receive a one-time bonus of 25 additional photos, then 50 free photo cleanups every calendar month. AI listing generation is not included on the free tier.
Photo Cleanup tiers (photo processing only — no AI listing generation):
- Photo Pro — USD 9 per month, 300 photos per month.
- Photo Business — USD 19 per month, 1,500 photos per month.
Photo + AI Listings tiers (photo processing PLUS AI-generated eBay listing drafts):
- AI Pro — USD 29 per month, 300 photos per month and 100 AI-generated eBay listings per month.
- AI Business — USD 79 per month, 1,500 photos per month and 500 AI-generated eBay listings per month.
Existing subscribers from before May 26, 2026 may be on a grandfathered legacy plan (legacy "Pro" $9 / legacy "Business" $29). Those plans continue at their original price and photo quotas but do not include AI listing generation. You may switch to a current tier at any time via the Stripe Customer Portal.
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through Stripe, Inc. ("Stripe"). The anonymous-trial cap, sign-up bonus size, monthly free allowance, and paid-tier quotas are advertised values that we may adjust with reasonable notice in future Terms revisions. We will not retroactively reduce credits you have already received.
Quota limits are monthly caps. When you exhaust a monthly quota (photos OR AI listings, on tiers with both), additional usage is refused until your next billing-period reset. There is no overage billing. Photo quota is enforced atomically per batch. AI listing quota is enforced at the time of each request; in unusual circumstances (e.g. multiple simultaneous tabs racing to start a generation at the exact moment you hit your cap) you may briefly exceed your allowance by one or two listings. We absorb the cost and do not bill or deduct from your next month's allowance for any such accidental overage.
- Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time via the Stripe Customer Portal, accessible from your account sidebar. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then. We do not provide pro-rated refunds for unused time except where required by applicable law.
- Refunds. All payments are non-refundable except as required by Stripe's standard policies or by applicable law (notably EU/UK consumer protection rules).
- Price changes. We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' written notice via the email associated with your account. Continued use after the change constitutes acceptance.
- Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, Stripe will retry per its standard dunning policy (typically up to 3 weeks). If retries fail, your subscription will be cancelled and access will revert to the free tier.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to: - Upload images of content that is illegal, infringes the rights of others, or depicts material you do not have the right to use; - Use the Service to process content that violates applicable export control, privacy, or intellectual property laws; - Attempt to circumvent quota limits, reverse engineer the Service, or use automated tools to abuse the Service; - Use the Service to develop a competing product, including by training machine-learning models on its outputs; - Resell or sublicense access to the Service.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these restrictions, with or without notice.
5. Intellectual Property
You retain all rights to images you upload. By using the Service, you grant Wyser Baron a limited, non-exclusive license to process those images solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of your content.
Retention of uploaded images varies by feature (Photo Cleanup is in-memory only; AI Listings persists cleaned crops to Cloudflare R2 and logs request payloads for debugging). See Section 1 and our Privacy Policy for the exact retention rules.
The Service itself, including its source code, models, design, and brand, is the property of Wyser Baron LLC and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
6. Service Availability & Modifications
We strive to keep the Service available 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service or any feature with reasonable notice. We are not liable for any losses arising from temporary unavailability or feature changes.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy of detection results. Coin detection accuracy is not guaranteed; manual adjustment sliders are provided for cases where automatic detection is imperfect.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Wyser Baron LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of profits, lost sales, lost listings, lost goodwill, or data loss — arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
In no event shall our aggregate liability exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to liability, or (b) USD 100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability; these provisions apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
9. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by emailing [email protected]. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms or if continued service is no longer commercially viable, with reasonable notice except in cases of egregious abuse. Upon termination, your access to paid features ends immediately; we will delete your personal data within 30 days, subject to retention requirements for billing records and applicable law.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the email associated with your account at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Coos County, Oregon, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
